Sunset behind the cemetery

I took a trip out to my new spot two days ago and discovered that it actually sits at the end of a cemetery.

The location I shot from previously gave me limited spots to shoot from but knowing how to get in to the cemetery it was really easy to drive round the other side where one can easily walk round the whole pond.

HDR [-2,0,+2] pano stitched in PTGui. HDR with DPHDR.

Shot on a Canon EOS 40D and Sigma 10-20mm.

I took my first visit to Wellington Point on Saturday for a sunrise shoot. I was quite pleased with the display :)

I got a Cactus V4 flash trigger today so had a play around with some smoke trails.

Taken with a Canon EOS 40D, 17-85mm EFS lens.

One 430EXII to camera right at 1/16 power triggered with a Cactus V4.

Sigma 10-20mm

I just joined the Sigma 10-20mm club :) The lens arrived on Monday but I didn't get to play with it till yesterday.

This is my current 'emergency sunset spot' it's only 10 minutes from the house so I can get to it if favourable conditions present themselves at the last minute :)
